Admission Procedure

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

ADMISSION THROUGH CASUALTY/EMERGENCY

• Patient enters hospital and reports to Casualty
• Examined by Casualty Medical Officer / Specialist and if required advised admission.
• As per the level of care (Ward/Pvt Room/HDU/ICU/CCU) deemed necessary by the treating doctor, availability of bed is confirmed from reception.
• Relatives are asked to approach reception to complete admission formalities. A valid government photo ID proof of the patient has to be shown at the reception.
• All enquiries regarding charges can be made at the reception.
• All enquiries regarding Insurance/TPA/Panels can be made at the TPA desk.
• If bed is likely to be available shortly, patient is made to wait in Casualty under supervision of the doctors.
• On availability of bed, patient is admitted.
• If there is no availability of bed, patient is appropriately referred to other hospital.

ADMISION THROUGH OPD (FOR STABLE PATIENTS)

• Patient advised admission by specialist in OPD for surgery or for conservative treatment.
• Patient/Relatives approach reception to complete admission formalities. A valid government photo ID proof of the patient has to be shown at the reception.
• All enquiries regarding charges can be made at the reception.
• All enquiries regarding Insurance/TPA/Panels can be made at the TPA desk.
• There is no system for confirmed booking in advance. However a tentative note will be made and we will attempt to provide you the best possible service.

Each patient is given a UHID number to which all records in relation to treatment at our hospitals can be traced. This number is linked to your mobile number that you have submitted.
